Situation
This charming, stone townhouse is situated in a tiny courtyard in the center of Komiža, just a few meters from the sea. Komiža is on the island of Vis, which is one of the sunniest places in the Adriatic. It is a gorgeous little fishing village situated around a picturesque harbor. Komiža is so small that simply by walking you can reach everything you need.

Interior
You will find this romantic 2-person studio on the third floor. The apartment consists of one room and a bathroom. The main room has been visually divided into two parts: a sleeping area furnished with a double bed, SAT TV, safe and built-in closet; and a living room with a fully-equipped little kitchen with 3 seats. The bathroom is modern. The apartment also has an air-conditioner and offers a view of the street.

Surroundings
Vis is an island with beautiful caves as well as beaches of white sand and gravel which stretch along the coast. It is exotic, mysterious and wild yet at the same time it is also gentle. Here you have the true smell of unspoiled nature which is so intense that you get the feeling you could almost touch it. It is a perfect place to go exploring. There are lots of little beaches in and around the village which the locals use - the two biggest, however, are at the southernmost and northernmost ends of the bay. The latter is much larger, is shaded by palm trees and is the main tourist beach - you'll need to walk 10-15 minutes through the village to reach it. There are also plenty of cafes and bars to choose from, most of which are open till late during the summer. Heading back out of Komiza, you are afforded some delightful views from the monastery near Hum - be sure to stop at a good vantage point for some photos, and if you're lucky and it's a clear day, you'll even be able to see the island of Bisevo rising through the mist offshore. Modra Spilja, 5km southwest of Komiza, on the island of Bisevo, is the biggest attraction this side of the island. This is the famous "blue cave" - at certain times, sunlight enters the cave from a submerged side entrance and reflects off the seabed, bathing the whole cave in a glorious blue color. It's big enough for small boats to enter, and swimming in this magnificent place is possible in summer months. It's quite a sight, and one you should not miss if you're on Vis for any length of time.
