This magnificent Gite (accommodation) is located in the small village of Chanay, in the foothills of the Alps, about 45 minutes from Geneva and Annecy. The apartment is situated at an altitude of 545 meters and offers a magnificent view of the mountains and surrounding landscape. The owner lives on the same site, but your privacy will be respected. Chanay is a typical small French village. The apartment is located in the upper part of the village. This means it is quiet and surrounded by nature. This Gite is ideal if you want a little 'time out' or if you are looking to experience true French culture.

Interior
This Gite has a separate bedroom furnished with a double bed. There is also space for a baby bed. There is a separate kitchen with everything you need to prepare and serve meals, and a living room, situated next to the kitchen, with a TV and DVD player. There is a bathroom with shower. At the front of the Gite you will find a large terrace which has a great view of the mountains and a barbecue for the summer. On the 1st floor there is a balcony with a breathtaking view.

Surroundings
This Gite is located just 45 km from Geneva, a city with luxurious shops, small streets and lots of museums - certainly worth a visit! 45 minutes away you'll find the town of Annecy, known for its big lake. Annecy has two parts, the New Town, where you can find many shops, and the old town, with many historic landmarks and museums. In the immediate vicinity of the accommodation you can go for walks or visit the many small neighboring villages. Within 40 minutes you can reach the largest natural lake in France: Lac du Bourget. Here you will find many water sports activities as well as the town of Aix-Les-Bains. In the spring and summer there is a lot to do here.
