Situation
This bungalow is part of a holiday park in the town of Hosingen. The park lies at an altitude of ca. 500m, between the picturesque towns of Clervaux and Vianden (15 km.) The park borders a large nature reserve which has several wonderful hiking routes. It is not without reason that Luxemburg is known as the 'green heart' of Europe! Many rivers and brooks flow through this region, a region full of forests, fields, vineyard covered mountains and breathtaking landscapes. When there is snow, cross-country skiing is possible right behind the park. The park has the following facilities: a reception area, tennis court, midget-golf, table-tennis, playground, swimming pool with a separate children pool, (open May-September and heated by solar energy) and a bar/restaurant (open regularly during July and August). The possibilities in the vicinity are almost unlimited: cycling, climbing, water-skiing, canoeing, sailing, surfing, camping, golf, tennis, horseback riding, swimming, fishing, thermal bathing, casino, theatre, concerts and museums.
Our restaurant at Domaine "La Sapinière" will be closed during the Christmas holidays 2011 to 2012.
Interior
This apartment is suitable for a max. of three persons and has a color TV (with several Dutch commercial channels: RTL4, SBS6), coffee maker, refrigerator with freezer compartment, 2 / 4 hot-plates and a terrace with furniture. Furthermore, there is a bathroom with the standard equipment: toilet, sink and bathtub. This type A accommodation is a studio, i.e. you have one room, a living/bedroom. Here you will find two single beds and a sleeper couch. The beds have blankets and pillows. Heating is by way of electric radiators. The furnishings may vary from one apartment to another.
Surroundings
Luxemburg is a hilly country, with vast forests, beautiful rivers and river valleys. All towns have their own particular charm. These picturesque towns lie in valleys on the banks of one of the many rivers. Some of them have a historic fortress. The spurs of the Ardennes reach into the northern Oesling region. On the German border lies the Luxemburg-German nature reserve and natural area of the Upper-Sûre. The southern part, Gutland, is predominantly agricultural and in the southernmost part lies the Minette with several industrial landmarks dating from the age of metal ore mining. On the French border lies the health resort of Mondorf-Les-Bains. From Hosingen it is possible to undertake excursions to Echternach, Clervaux, Vianden, the city of Luxemburg and the Belgian Ardennes. At night it is worth while admiring the floodlit castles of Clervaux and Vianden. The Müllerthal and Beaufort are also an absolute must!
Rental conditions
The following energy costs are valid: in all periods (excluding summer) are the energy costs 0.22 cents p / kWh. In summer there is a fixed amount: Type A to D: € 30 per week and 20 € per midweek / weekend Type E and F: €40 per week and 25 € per midweek / weekend Type F16: €80 per week and €50 per midweek/weekend. These costs must be paid locally and are not listed in the booking sheet. You will receive a copy of the park regulations upon arrival. These regulations must be respected. You are allowed to bring one pet. The cost is € 5 per day. A second pet is only allowed on request.
