There are two cheese factories in Bonnievale: Parmalat and Mooivallei Suiwel. Parmalat processes cheese, butter, milk, and whey powder. Parmalat's Bon Blanc (white cheddar) was crowned Dairy Product of the Year at the National Dairy Awards. All milk received from Parmalat's milk producers is tested and analysed every single day before it is pasteurised or processed.
