2 Semi-detachted apartments rurally situated in the small village of San Felices, a Castilian village in the north-east of the province of Soria where the air is fresh and healthy due to its high location (940 m). The building was finished with pinewood and stone and forms part of a larger property for rural tourism with another 7 double bedrooms, 1 suite and various conference rooms. There is also a bar cafeteria where you can have breakfast or enjoy lunch. The intention was to integrate the building that was recently constructed into the environment using the same stone and the same material that is also used in all houses, haylofts and public areas. The facades were constructed in manually sculpted stone. What is striking overall is the impressive overhanging eaves built from stone with baked clay. The narrow streets of San Felices are reminiscent of an Arab past. The completely tiled village floor and the corresponding haylofts indicate an agricultural past and grain farming. The Castilian houses and their haylofts are authentic masterpieces by farmers who show what a great result one can achieve by piling clay stones true to the spirit of previous times. The Church of the Holy Apostle, Peter (thirteenth century) is worth special mention. The village is definitely worth visiting and you can enjoy a great view from the Pórtico-Mirador up to the nearby Cigudosa, Valdemadera and Sierra de Alcarama. Other things worth seeing in the area are: the Moncayo route, the GR-86 walking route (Sendero Ibérico Soriano), the Tierras Altas route (San Pedro Manrique), the route of the Dinosaurs (from Enciso to Cornago), Soria; the historic provincial capital (20 minutes away) and the old town centre of Tudela. The Black Lagoon "Lagune Negra" and the "Cañon de Rio Lobos gorge (1.5 hours away) are certainly also worth visiting. The village San Felices qualifies as a protective zone, it is an important place due to its environmental- and landscape value and it offers various possibilities to all mountain lovers or those who enjoy travel. You don’t have to be a major sportsman as the difficulty level and the courses are not on that level.
