Urlaub in Jütland
Jütland befindet sich auf der Kimbrischen Halbinsel in Nordeuropa. Begrenzt vom Skagerrak im Norden, Kattegat im Osten und dem Kleinen Belt im Westen macht Jütland weitgehend den größten Anteil am Festland von Dänemark aus. Ihren Namen hat die dänische Region von den Jüten, einem germanischen Volksstamm, der im 5. Jahrhundert auf dem Weg nach England auf dem europäischen Festland heimisch wurden.
Die Halbinsel Jütland umfasst eine Fläche von rund 29.767 qkm, auf der etwa 3,4 Millionen Dänen leben. Ihre größten und wichtigsten Städte sind Arhus, Aalborg, Billund, Grinsted, Ribe, Sonderborg.
