Die französische Region Elsass liegt im Osten der Republik und zeichnet sich durch seine heimeligen Städtchen mit pittoresken Fachwerkhäusern aus. Das Elsass grenzt im Südwesten an Franche-Cómte, im Westen an Lothringen, sowie an Deutschland und der Schweiz.
