Heaths and deciduous forests in one of the most beautiful areas of Veluwe make a wonderful walking region. Cycle and walk through one of the many historic Veluwe villages and towns, or visit Lake Veluwe (7 km). This lake offers many recreation options in the summer, such as windsurfing, sailing, fishing and swimming.
The centre of the Veluwe village of Putten is 2.5 km away, and has various shops and restaurants.
Visit the charming centre of Harderwijk (14 km) and sample the town's history.
A visit to the Dolfinarium in Harderwijk and the Bosbad in Putten (3.5 km) are great trips for the kids.
