This former farm-house was rennovated a few years ago and turned into two holiday homes, that lie in a typical farm-yard, where there are also a few other buildings. The Villa S.Margherita holiday home lies in a very quite and sunny area in the vicinity of Gioiosa Marea, 2 Km from the sea, opposite the Eolian Islands. The holiday home has a sea view, a terrace and a garden with garden furniture, BBQ and is surrounded by flowers, palm trees and orange and lemon trees. Guests have access to a pool of 26 sq.m., another children's pool and a tennis court. The holiday home is comfortably designed and decorated with two bedrooms, bathroom, living-room with a sofa-bed and TV as well as a fitted kitchen where one can personally cook the typical products from the farm.

| Location description | From the holiday flat Villa S.Margherita one can easily reach the ancient Greek colony of Tindari (12 Km) where one can visit the archeological zone, the sanctuary of the Black Madonna and in the area of Marinello, the salt ponds. One can easily reach the wonderful Eolian islands (Lipari, Vulcano, Stromboli, Panarea etc.), which are only a few kilometers away, within approximately one hour by ferry. These small islands offer a unique atmosphere with their small beaches and villages and their wonderful nature and culture, where it is always possible to relax in the sun. It is possible to make day excursions to these islands so as to visit more than one in just a few days. It is also possible to make day excursions to the famous localities of Cefalu' (80 Km) and Taormina (100Km), which are around one hour by car away and Palermo, Erice, Selinunte, Agrigento and other wonderful localities in Sicily are also reachable in around a few hours. In the immediate vicinity there are some wonderful, mile long beaches, with very clean sea water, in San Giorgio di Gioiosa Marea, Capo Calava' and Patti Marina with possibilities for motorboat hire and other water sport opportunities. Also in the immediate vicinity there are possibilities for trekking tours and horse riding. In the surrounding villages (Patti, Gioiosa Marea, Mongiove) and small city (Milazzo), in addition to the eolian Islands, it is possible to immerse oneself in local Sicilian culture with restaurants, bars, shops, banks and many organised "Lidi" on the beaches. |
