Ausflugsmöglichkeiten bieten sich an das Thyrr. Meer mit den Städten Follonica und Piombino sowie den Badeorten San Vincenzo, Punta Ala und Castiglione della Pescaia. Historisch interressierte Urlauber werden Freude finden an Florenz, Siena, San Gimignano, Populonia und Massa Marttima. Als Besonderheiten im Umkreis von 60 - 80 km kann man die Insel Elba, Saturnia (Wasserfall mit schwefehaltigem Wasser) sowie die Halbinsel "Monte Argentario" bezeichnen. Ganz in der Nähe liegt die Klosterruine "San Galgano". Wer in erster Linie das Meer sucht, wird von den Stränden und Buchten nördlich und südlich von Follonica begeistert sein. Das "Podere Campitello" liegt in einem Weiler mit insgesamt 4 Häusern. Die Ferienwohnung ist nach Süden ausgerichtet mit Blick auf die mittelalterliche Ortschaft Boccheggiano, die ca. 1km entfernt ist. "Campitello" ist über die Staatsstraße und eine ca. 500m lange gekieste Straße gut mit dem Auto erreichbar. |
