The Thomalahütte is situated in detached position, surrounded by mountains and meadows. The rustic house is comfortably furnished and is heated by a wood-burner and a tiled stove. The kitchen disposes of wood-burner and oven, gas-stove, coffee maker, toaster. The bedrooms on the 1st floor (double and triple) are separated by a wall with an open space (no door, curtain). There is a fishing pond and a skittle alley in front of the house. The next village Ramingstein, where you can find shops, a bakery, a doctor, the train staion, a restaurant and a bank, is about 6 km from the house. The next village, Tamsweg, is about 15 km from the house.

- In Summer, you can start your hiking tours directly from the house, or you take your bike and discover the region of the Nockalm. The holiday region Lungau disposes of 58 lakes, natural valleys, idyllic meadows and woods, bizarre mountain peaks. Additional activities: skittle alley in front of the house, big garden and fishing pond, tennis (15 km) and golf (35 km).
