Der Balaton im Frühjahr

Detailed comment	Den Balaton und die nähere Umgebung wollten wir uns einmal vor der Saison ansehen und waren im Ergebnis angenehm überrascht. Obwohl sehr viel an Gastronomie geschlossen war, keinerlei Aktivitäten geboten wurden und an Baden nicht zu denken war, haben wir die vorsaisonale Ruhe sehr genossen. Wer keine Einsamkeit scheut (auf der Wohnstraße waren wir fast die einzigen menschlichen Lebenwesen) und das Land ohne Stau kennen lernen möchte, sei der März angeraten. Bis auf einen bewölkten Tag hatten wir Anfang März 2008 nur sonnige Tage und absolut freie Fahrt. Das Haus war 1a eingerichtet. Es fehlte an nichts. Auch ohne Toilettenpapier, Kaffeemehl, Kaffeefilter, Bettwäsche etc. pp. hätten wir den ersten Tag problemlos überstanden. Wir wünschen dem Vermieter viele folgenden Gäste, die diese nicht alltägliche Bereitstellung zu schätzen wissen und alles da belassen, wo es vorgefunden wurde.
Best travel time	Spring-time Vor der Saison ist es angenehm ruhig am Balaton und der näheren Umgebung.
Location information	Supermarket, Restaurant, Market, Tourist Office Alles in erreichbarer Nähe des Wohnortes. Größere Supermärkte sind etwas weiter weg, haben aber teilweise dafür 24 Stunden (Tesco) geöffnet.
Nature	Lake Wie sich eben Ungarn in diesem Bereich darstellt.
Shopping facilities	Fashion, Factory Outlet Fußgängerzonen, sofern vorhanden, sind in Ungarn nicht wie in Deutschland angelegt. Die Erwartungshaltung sollte diesbezüglich ob der Angebote also nicht zu hoch sein.
Leisure activities	Hiking Ohne nenneswerten "Gegenverkehr" entsprechend der Vorsaison eigentlich überall möglich.
Recommendable for	Couples In dieser Zeit eher etwas für Ruhesuchende mit PKW. Eine Anfahrt ohne Pkw ist in dieser Zeit nicht ratsam.
My restaurant recommendation	Verschiedene Aufgrund der für Deutsche niedrigen Preisstruktur sind wir abgesehen vom Frühstück grundsätzlich Essen gegangen. Halt haben wir auf unseren Touren da gemacht, wo der äußere Eindruck unserer Meinung nach stimmte. Die Küche war immer top. Insbesondere der aus dem Balaton stammende Zander ist hierbei zu empfehlen.
