The Stadlhütte is rustically and comfortably furnished and lies in quiet position on a sunny slope of the Leppneralm, with marvellous view of Jaukengebirge and Reißkofl. In the ground floor well furnished kitchen with dining area, couch and wood-burning stove as well as the bathroom with shower and WC. A roofed terrace invites to comfortable summer evenings in front of the hut (garden piece of furniture and garden grill available!). In the upper floor 2 x three-bed rooms(camp). There is fresh water in the well before the hut. In the Stadlhütte there is no electric current, light with gas. An additional bed (single room) can be rented on the spot.

- The "Embergeralm" (10 km of pistes, 5 lifts) is about 27 km from the Smoley Hütte, to the ski resort Zettersfeld (Lienz/East Tyrol) with 10 lifts and 5 cable ways (Weissensee Bergbahnen) about 30 minutes by car. The lake "Weissensee" is well known in Winter for ice-skating activities. Cross country skiing in the region with about 70 km of cross country trails.

- The natural and herbal village Irschen: various herbal gardens and meadows in full bloom invite the guests of this extraordinary village in the Upper Drautal. In the village swimming centre with large meadow, children's area, deck chairs. Buffet with sunny terrace. The region offers a well-marked net of hiking trails and about 300 km hiking paths. Connection to the longest cycle route of Carinthia, the Drau Radweg.
