The Middle Ages stronghold of Montfalcó Murallat is situated on a hill and has its origin in the XI century. It is a walled in hamlet with only one entrance. The hamlet has 20 houses, of which 2 are inhabited. The typical houses are integrated in the encircle. There is a very good restaurant. All this gives a feeling of absolute rest and relaxation and in the Middle Ages. The qualitatively good furnished house has a little garden with terrace with a view over the valley and a balcony that overlooks the central square of the stronghold, which must have originally been the weapon storage.
Due to the strategic location in the heart of Catalonia (within 60 min. by car from Barcelona, within 45 min. from Lleida, within 25 min. from Manresa, within 70 min. from Tarragona and 90 min. from Girona) this house is an ideal departure point to discover the Catalonian inland. Many activities can be undertaken; like a visit to "Conjunto monumental de Cervera", the cloister of Sant Ramon, the castle route of Segarra, the impressing watch tower of Vallferosa, the Roman town Guissona, golfing in Bellpuig, horse riding in Calaf, quad riding in Guissona, etc.
