Position: the Katschberg is situated at the boarder between Salzburg and Carinthia and is easily accessible by car: the freeway leads directly to the bottom of the Katschberg. On an area of 10.000 m², there is the unique „village“ of 7 huts, constructed in the year 2003. The village is situated directly at the ski pistes, only a few 100 m from the station of the 4-chairs-lift. The centre of the village “Katschberg” is reachable easily on foot in a few minutes. Installation and equipment: The style of the houses in combination with the ideal position make the village really extraordinary: the houses are totally built of wood in the typical style of the region and provide a comfortable atmosphere and feeling. Each of the huts is equipped for 10 persons maximum and is furnished with every comfort: 3 double rooms and one room for 4 persons, 1 baby bed per house, spacious living/dining/kitchen area with E-stove and oven, coffee maker, dish-washer, microwave, refrigerator with freezing compartment, toaster. Also in the huts: sauna with 2 showers, 2 x WC, 1 bathroom/shower. The houses also dispose of an Internet connection.

- Ski resort: the ski resort Katschberg (1650 to 2220 m altitude) is one of the most „new coming“ ski resorts in Austria. 60 km of ski tracks and wonderful slopes. In the years 2001 and 2002, all of the lifts and cableways have been completely renewed and extended. Two times per week night-skiing, children’s world “Katschi” for the little ones (easy slopes, heated pavilion, ski school).

- Summer on the mountain: The summer in the region of Salzburg/Carinthia offers everything one’s heart could wish: endless Hiking and Biking tours (Mountain bike rental possible), Fishing, Horseback riding, Tennis (100 m), the Carinthian lakes (20 km) or an excursion to the town Salzburg (1 hour’s drive). Summer program: archery tournaments, Pony- and Donkey Riding, Climbing. Big Skating park, guided tours, bread baking courses, visit of an original cheese fabrication and a visit in a gold mine. The heated outdoor pool centre Rennweg lies in a magnificent green area and provides Minigolf, Table Tennis, a children’s playground and a small kiosk. Golf court 10 km.
