The Chalet is in a quiet position in the charming village St. Martin-Le Châtelard. St. Martin is the ideal place to go skiing from valley to valley, due to the ideal connections to Meribel-Courchevel. The broad slopes of the glacier around Val Thorens are a well known meeting point for snowboarders. In Les Ménuires sporting centre with sauna, steam bath and ice skating rink, about 10 minutes by car.

- The sympathetic village St. Martin with shops and cafés, pubs, a skiing school, skiing kinder garden (for children from 2 ½ years don). The slope „Encombres“ with powder snow in an altitude of 1.400 m leads directly to the Chalet. The access to the 28 km cross country track is only 200 m from the Chalet.The ski resort 3 Vallées (St. Martin de Belleville, Les Menuires, Val Thorens, Méribel, Courchevel) is one of the best-known resorts in the world, about 600 km of pistes and 100 km of powder snow routes. Wonderful Free Ride-routes like the „Encombres“ to St. Martin/Châtelard are only an example. The meeting points fro snowboarders are the snow parks in „Val Tho“ and Les Ménuires and the slopes of the glacier. Lifts: 92 Ski-lifts, 66 chair-lifts and 43 cableways.
