- The ski regions Großarl/Gastein and Alpendorf/Sportwelt Amadé are about 6 km from the hut. The ski resort Großarltal-Dorfgastein provides cableways and ski lifts and about 80 km of well prepared pistes, free ride tracks and hilly slopes.
- The house has a big terrace and a little pond in the garden. Possibilities for shopping and entertainment facilities in the village Großarl (6 km), restaurant about 1,5 km. 16 golf courts in the region (about 1 hour’s drive).
