The house is heated by the wood burner in the kitchen and E-heating. 2 km to the next inn, the nearest village for shopping and leisure activities is St. Gertraud (9 km).

- The ski resort Weinebene with 7 lifts, ski school and ski rental is approx. 12 km from the house. The cross country trails are 15 km from the house. Tobogganing directly at the house and on the toboggan run Weinebene. From the ski resort tours until Hebalm and Koralpe.

- In Summer ideal area for those who love to look for mushrooms, hiking possibilites (Weinebene, Koralpe, Saualpe), Horseback riding, fishing, swimming in the Stadionbad in Wolfsberg (13 km), Summer tobogganing on the Klippitztörl.
